Where 2b2t wins

  • History. The bases, the incursions, the lore and the YouTube canon all happened here. Nothing else has it and nothing else will.
  • The name. It is the server everyone has heard of, and the one worth seeing once.
  • Pure vanilla. No teleports means distance is real protection and finding a base means something.
  • No mod to install. Add the address and wait.

Where 6b6t wins

  • No queue. You play the moment you connect. That alone decides it for most people who search for alternatives.
  • No rules. No chat filter, no build removals, no mutes for arguing with staff. It is the anarchy 2b2t used to be.
  • Every platform. Bedrock, console, phone and offline accounts all join.
  • A real crowd. Around 350 players online on average, none of them waiting in a line.
  • Current version. 26.2 against 2b2t’s 1.21.4.
  • Playing with friends is possible without a six-hour walk.

The mod situation, plainly

On 15 July 2026 Mojang added 6b6t’s address to the blocklist inside the vanilla Java client. 2b2t answered its own Mojang notice with a rulebook. 6b6t answered with AnarchyMod, a free open-source Fabric mod that removes the client-side block and keeps the server rule-free; Bedrock is not affected. It is a one-minute install and a real extra step 2b2t does not have. It is also the reason anarchy still exists on Java. Install guide.

Who should play where

Visit 2b2t for the history: the spawn, the highways, the ruins of bases you watched videos about. Bring a paid Java account and a free evening for the queue, and mind the rules while you are there.

Play 6b6t if you want anarchy: no queue, no rules, any platform, any account, and a few hundred people online right now. The trade is a younger world and a one-minute mod install on Java.

Plenty of people do both: 2b2t for the pilgrimage, 6b6t for every other night.

Two ways into 6b6t, neither with a queue

  • Bedrock: add br.6b6t.org, port 19132. Done.
  • Java: install AnarchyMod, then add join.6b6t.org.
